Dr. Patricia Ho - Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Patricia Ho is a proud Chicago west-side native with over 15 years of experience in general practice, emergency/urgent care, and specialty veterinary medicine.

Dr. Ho enjoys building relationships with pets and their families and is passionate about client education, comprehensive care, and treating each patient as a whole. She especially enjoys solving complex medical and behavioral concerns and offers both conventional and integrative therapies, including acupuncture, to support healing and wellness. Her goal is to partner with families to provide the best care, comfort, and guidance for their pets.

She is proud to bring high-quality medicine, surgery, and preventive care to the historic Pilsen neighborhood and surrounding communities. Outside of work, Dr. Ho enjoys exploring Chicago with her husband and two young sons. She also shares her home with a semi-feral cat who is slowly warming up to the idea of more pets.

Dr. Alex Nebelle - Veterinarian

Dr. Alex Nebelle is delighted to be a new member of the Kindred Veterinary team. She is passionate about veterinary medicine as a uniquely challenging and rewarding field, and she is deeply committed to advocating for patients who cannot speak for themselves. Dr. Nebelle values the meaningful bonds between people and their pets and is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of animals so they can enjoy long, happy lives.

Dr. Nebelle earned her undergraduate degree in animal science from the University of Illinois (UIUC) before pursuing her veterinary education at the University of Glasgow in Scotland, where she graduated in 2024. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and particularly enjoys working with small mammals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. Dr. Nebelle is committed to partnering with pet owners, offering guidance and education to help them make thoughtful, informed decisions about their pets’ care.
